Very collectible and sought after vintage retro Bullet tube radio. Affectionately named the “Midge”, this Northern Electric 5508 unit, which is similar to the Farnsworth sets, has been electronically restored and sounds great! Cabinet is the original hammered rose. Aux input cord added so you can play music from your phone, audio player or Bluetooth module. You will also have the option, at checkout,  of an FM module that will allow you to listen to FM stations on it. 

 All radios for sale by The Retro Radio Shop have had a thorough assessment and electronic refurbishing. All out of spec tubes, resistors and capacitors replaced. Any cracks in case repaired and painted. Each radio will come with a schematic diagram and, if applicable, a work order detailing the restoration work completed.
